Systems Engineer

This position will provide design, programing and project coordination services for material handling, process control, and transportation projects. Responsibilities include control system design, PLC and HMI programming, control system troubleshooting, project scoping and coordination with customers, contractors and other staff members. Roles may include serving as project manager or lead designer. In addition, tasks may involve assisting with the writing of proposals, attending client presentations, maintaining relationship with current clients, and developing relationships with potential clients.
Software Developer
Smart Simple Solutions is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us create dynamic software applications for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and testing scalable code, developing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements in collaboration with front-end developers. To be successful as a Python developer, you should possess in-depth knowledge of object-relational mapping, experience with server-side logic, and above-average knowledge of Python programming. The expectation is to hire a senior Python developer that will be able to design highly responsive web-applications that meet the needs of our client.
Maximo Implementation SME
Smart Simple Solutions is seeking Maximo system implementations, management, and system level support for one of our Rail & Transit clients. The SME will create project estimates and proposals based upon customer's business requirements and presents project planning documents to enterprise management for approval. Monitors project team and reports status of Maximo system implementations and post-implementation support to management. Coordinates detailed system analysis for customers. Develops and implements creative solutions to resolve business process problems. Supports previously implemented Maximo applications. Stays current with relevant Maximo technologies. Supports Maximo mobility initiatives and architecture. Maintains positive customer relationships at all levels of the organization.
Systems Architect
Smart Simple Solutions is seeking a senior Systems Architect to design system solutions from business requirements, assess current systems and plan the roadmap for the future of the infrastructure. The System Architect will work closely with service owners to support the design phase and with the infrastructure system administrator to bring those vision to life. This position will also create policies, guideline, procedures, and associated training plans for system resource administration and appropriate use as well as create and oversee policies, guideline for system asset management, including maintenance of systems component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.
Project Manager
Smart Simple Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate for this position would be an experienced consultant with 10+ years of project management experience and strong client development and relationship skills with a “seller/doer” approach. The Project Manager should have strong technical and project management skills, and an ability to manage a team and develop staff. He should be able negotiate and agree on project scope, job tasks, contract terms, budget, and schedule with Clients. Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement and industry standard-of-care criteria.
